Every company has a story, and ours starts with a shared foundation and two different paths. Zonta and Temi first met at the University of Michigan, where Zonta studied engineering and Temi studied finance. After graduating, we pursued separate journeys, Zonta in management consulting and as a small business owner, and Temi in private equity investing and company building, each gaining hands-on experience operating, scaling, and investing in businesses.

Years later, we reconnected as classmates in the same section at Harvard Business School. Recognizing our shared passion for investing, operating, and partnering with entrepreneurs, we decided to build Alstra together. Today, Alstra reflects that combined perspective: disciplined capital, operational empathy, and a commitment to helping founders grow enduring businesses while preserving what makes them special.
